What Inspires Us?

The world and everything in it. A song lyric, the sweeping emotion that overcomes us as a we listen to a beautiful piece of music or the eternal sound of the waves crashing against the shore. A dog stranded on either side of a highway. An ant making that precarious journey across a busy sidewalk. A blade of grass peeking through a crevise in the asphalt that, no matter how many times it gets stepped on, continues to survive. A sea turtle washed up dead on the shore.
